How to find us:
By Car: Parking around ICOSS is very restricted, there are council meters surrounding the building. There may be some parking slots in University car parks subject to availability. Contact Dawn Lessels if you would like to request a parking space.
By Train: Those travelling by train are advised that the Supertram runs directly from the rear of the train station to the University. Take the Blue route (destination ‘Malin Bridge’) to the ‘University of Sheffield’ stop, journey time approximately 10 minutes. After alighting the tram cross over the dual carriageway back towards the city centre, take the small side streeet (Gell Street, with Jessops cafe on the corner). ICOSS is located 200m along on the right hand side.
By Bus: The number 51, 52, 95 and 120 bus routes from the city centre run near to ICOSS. http://www.travelsouthyorkshire.com/timetablefinder.aspx.
Walking: ICOSS is around a 20 minute walk from the train station, 10-15 minutes from the city centre. To get to the heart of the city from the train station, follow the mirrored waterfall towards the Showroom cinema, then bear right, cross the road, carry on up, past Sheffield Hallam University, up the steps and cross the road again.
Taxis: There are taxi ranks at the train station, the interchange and beside the City Hall at Barker’s Pool. A taxi to ICOSS from the station should only take about five minutes, but can take longer if traffic is heavy.
